Varsity Centre Groundbreaking Celebration

Preparation for the construction of the new Varsity Centre for Physical Activity and Health began with a groundbreaking ceremony on November 25, 2005. The Centre includes a regulation size football and soccer field, eight lane track, seating for 5,000 and support amenities including change rooms, lights, scoreboard and landscaping. There is also an air-supported structure over the playing field in winter months.
