Paul Krugman – Honorary Degree Ceremony

On Friday, June 14, the University of Toronto bestowed the degree of Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, upon Paul Krugman in recognition of his extraordinary accomplishments and excellence in the field of economics. Named “the most celebrated economist of his generation” by The Economist, Dr. Krugman is the recipient of many notable accolades including the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences awarded in 2008.
