Ronald Daniels – Honorary Degree Ceremony

Ronald J. Daniels, president of The Johns Hopkins University, was awarded the degree Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, for his accomplishments as a champion of the role of the research and teaching university in fostering social and scientific progress. Before assuming the presidency of Johns Hopkins, he was dean of Law at the University of Toronto from 1995-2005, and provost of the University of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2008.
