Royal Society of Canada Fellows Celebration

President Gertler hosted a celebration in hounour of U of T’s 2013 Royal Society fellows, medalists and award winners. This year nine researchers joined the Society as fellows and four won awards or medals.

An unprecedented three faculty members were recognized with medals and a fourth with a research award. In addition, nine more faculty members joined ranks of the nation’s premier scholarly society as Fellows. The University is proud to be home to Canada’s largest contingent of Royal Society Fellows.
