Jane McAuliffe – Honorary Degree Ceremony

Jane McAuliffe, leading scholar of the Qur′an and of Muslim-Christian relations, received the degree Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, from the University of Toronto, on November 15, 2013. A graduate of U of T (MA, Ph.D.), Dr. McAuliffe has made exceptional contributions to interfaith understanding and to every aspect of higher education, including research, teaching, and administration, having served as president of Bryn Mawr College and as dean of arts and sciences at Georgetown University.
