John F. (Jack) Petch – Honorary Degree Ceremony

John F. (Jack) Petch, one of Canada’s leading lawyers, received the degree Doctor of Laws, honoris causa, from the University of Toronto, on November 15, 2013. A graduate of U of T (LL.B.), Dr. Petch has a distinguished career as an advisor to business and community leaders and as a corporate director. Among his many positions of leadership in the community, he has served as chair of the University’s Governing Council and as chair of St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, one of the University’s partner research hospitals.
