Celebration for the 2023 University Professors
Members of the University community gathered at University College to plant an Eastern White Pine tree, an Indigenous symbol of knowledge and medicine, as part of U of T’s ongoing commitment to truth and reconciliation. President Gertler and other senior members of administration participated in the ceremony with Indigenous leaders at the University and in the wider community.
